Unidades e medidas

Na unidade Measurement, o Year 5 está praticando a medida de áreas, perímetros e volumes.

Respiratory System

Para entender melhor o funcionamento dos pulmões e do aparelho respiratório, os alunos realizaram uma experiência e apresentaram para seus amigos.

Digestive System

Os alunos do Year 5 prepararam posters sobre o aparelho digestivo e apresentaram para seus amigos.

It's Halloween

Comemoramos o Halloween com muita criatividade, cooperação e diversão.

Os alunos do Y4 e Y5, além do tradicional Trick or Treat pelos diversos departamentos da escola, participaram de um momento super legal.

Divididos em grupos, confeccionaram brincadeiras como "The moster that eats balls", "The pumpkins that eat ghosts", "Marbles monters", "Pumkin target", "Make a witch" e"Monster, monster, ghost".

Além de brincar, tais alunos ainda receberam carinhosamente os alunos do Year 3, que também tiveram a oportunidade de aproveitar cada uma das brincadeiras. Foi um show de cooperação!

 

 

Sistema Digestivo

Querem saber como foi a experiência para entender o SISTEMA DIGESTIVO?

Leiam o texto escrito pelos alunos Pedro Henrique, Pedro Torban e Victoria Caroline:

"First we broke some pieces of one cracker and put in the mouth. We chewed a little, and  we stayed with it for 3 minutes, then we swallowed. What happened?  The spit melt the cracker.

Then we made another experiment. We were divided into 2 groups. Every group received some crackers, so we broke the crackers in some pieces, we broke the crackers and this is like when we chew the cracker, then we mixed the crushed  cracker with water.  Water worked as the saliva and the gastric juice acting with the food: crackers got wet and it started to decompose into even smaller pieces, becoming liquid.

Then, we put the “liquid” in a plastic bag, representing our stomach. After 24 hours we observed that the fat oil of the cracker has been separated. We know that the digestive system sends the good nutrients to the body and the rest goes to the restroom!"

  

Confraternização em Gravatá

A turma do Year 5 já está em clima de despedida ;( 

            Como este é o último ano da turminha, eles estão aproveitando os momentos imensamente. 

Na semana passada, semana da criança, foram ao Portal de Gravatá, Passar dois dias muito especiais. Foram com Ms. Luciana, Ms. Rose, Ms. Lili a a turma do Digi-lab, que registrou os momentos com fotos como estas:
