Look at the picture below. What do you think could be beyond the door? Do you think it could be a magic place? Do you think somebody might be locked in there? Create a story about what is beyond the door. Start with:
"The minute I opened that door, I knew I was going to have an amazing adventure."
You should write a minimum of 2 pages of your journal. Remember to do your first draft on your ELA notebook, do your 5-finger check, then copy the final draft on your journal. This task is due on Wednesday, August 29.
